[Length 10.25 in. Wingspan 24 in.]
Pacific Golden-Plovers breed in the high Arctic regions of northcentral and northeastern Russia, and western Alaska.

They are the Asian counterpart of the American Golden-Plover.
The two birds were once considered to be the same species.
Their breeding ranges overlap only in western Alaska.
This one, in full breeding plumage, was photographed along the rocks of "Navy Town" on Attu Island in the Aleutian Islands, Alaska, USA.
