August 24, 2004 - Swallow-tailed Kites in Texas

Swallow-tailed Kites are rare and very local breeders in Eastern Texas along the Trinity and Sabine River bottoms. The town of Liberty (at the intersection of Rt. 90 and the Trinity River) is a good place to look for them, as they have nested here for a number of years. We recently took a trip to this area and were rewarded with great looks and photos.

Check them out on the Raptors web page.

July 12, 2004 - The Otter Side Goes Digital!

After years of shooting slides and then scanning them to create digital images, we have switched over to a completely digital process. All our pictures are now taken with Nikon D100 digital 35mm SLR cameras.

Check out our new digital photos from our trip to Scotland earlier this year.
