March 2006 - Aransas National Wildlife Refuge

The Skimmer Whooping Crane tour boat allowed close approach to Whooping Cranes.

A bonus was the Greater Flamingo, identified as coming from Mexico's Yucatan Peninsula Flamingo breeding colony by its brightly colored leg bands.

April and May 2006 - Photo Safaris to the Upper Texas Coast

Two very successful trips to the migration hotspots on the upper Texas coast yielded stunning photos of many neotropical migrants.

A bonus was the Sulphur-bellied Flycatcher at the Texas Ornithological Society's Sabine Woods Sanctuary.
