This one was photographed proclaiming his territory along the Glen Allen Highway about 100 miles east of Anchorage, Alaska. The first North American record of Lanceolated Warbler was on Attu Island, Alaska during the spring 1984 Attour trip. This Lanceolated Warbler was photographed the next day, when there were a handful of these birds singing and foraging along the southeastern coast of Attu. Photo taken with a Nikkor 300mm ED f4.5 lens on Ektachrome 400 film pushed to 800. (Date: May 1984)
