[Length 5 in. Wingspan 7.5 in.]

Magnolia Warblers breed in the northeastern US and across much of southern Canada. They prefer wet coniferous forests, and are fairly common throughout their range. The combination of a gray or gray and black head, yellow below, streaked sides, and dark wings with white wingbars readily identifies a Magnolia Warbler in either spring or fall. This male Magnolia Warbler was photographed at Sabine Woods - TOS, TX. Photo taken with a Nikkor 300mm EDAF-S f4 lens + Nikkor TC20E II 2.0x Teleconverter (EFL=900mm) on a Nikon D100 camera.
